Topic: bricked KMP510 from KeenHigh

yes, it looks like fw for another model.

Remote control or local buttons not working. only normal access to disk is possible. What we can do with it ? What can i test or something ?

i may have access to memory programmer, but i must desolder memory first... Only last way

Hello,

i got oneinternetradio from KeenHigh model KMP510. I use automatic firmware update function. New firmware downloaded and flash ok, but now is after turning on screen logo APEX DIGITAL TV, then is display black cca 1minute, then appears ordinary wallpaper with icons, but no button reaction - Player freezes.

When i connect it ordinary to USB - PC, then normal FAT32 disc appear...

please help me flash this device, how can i do it...

i try to connect to recovery, but no success (two external buttons and connect on usb, one middle button and connect to usb)

With the official firmware, it is most likely bricked.
I can fix it but need to have access to the device. Not sure if there is any other way to get into it.
No button both on the top of the device and on the remote does anything?
Sounds like the firmware is actually for a different model with a different remote control.

Note to others that have the same device, do not run the online update! It loads a bad firmware from the manufacturers site.
