It is possible that even though mplayer states the stream is mp3 that you have to select M3U or PLS as stream type.

Try to change the type and see if that solves the problem.

I get this error message on several of the stations, on my computer they play fine. The streams are mp3 streams (according to mplayer).
Anyone knows what is happening?
