Well, I am sure it is possible..

Just updated my P0 1119 to 1.52. Hoped the original uPNP now also included a renderer. This would allow to stream music from my SynoNas to the device using the Syno Audio app.

Yes, you can use the suggest button to add new station details..

Hello:

I am impressed at the Listenlive firmware I have with my Vistaquest 3.5" radio/tv.  One thing that could be added is to be able to listen to streams for more Iheart radio stations, particularly the AM news talk stations.  Tunein has those stations, and the radio does carry Tunein, but I have not been able to find many AM talk stations (such as my local WHJJ 920 AM).

Is there any way I can add the radio station to the radio's database?
 

Presently, when you are listening to a stream and wish to browse, you must use the back button (VistaQuest 3.5") which ends the stream. A new feature I'd like to see is when you listening to a stream is to be able to use the back button and "browse" other stations, then when you wish to select another station, you must push "enter" for it to change, otherwise after say, 10-15 seconds, it would automatically revert back to the present stream.

I had just a few more suggestions about this feature...

OK here are some more idea's:

- icon on top status bar when receiving signal from remote.
- sort app icons and remove unused apps from main screen.
- upnp browser: first letter index for quicker loading (list of albums of my music collections takes 2 minutes to load)
- picture viewer with support for jpg and bmp, including slide show option > seems to work with samba access, not with upnp ?!?
- WPS support for wifi settings
- change settings with browser
- option to turn off picture scaling

Yeah, it is kinda hidden

Go to settings, network settings, network setup, samba network settings, manage favorite samba shares.

Here you can add new (favorite) shares and remove existing favorite shares.
You can add login name and password for protected shares as well.
After entering a favorite, it will be listed in the Samba media player screen.
First your favorite shares are listed and additional the "scan network" option is available.

These favorites are shortcuts and usually work even when a share is not found within the normal samba discovery process. (providing the entered details are correct of course)

Can you please explain where I can find these options? In MediaPlayer - Samba/CIFS I can only scan for hosts, but all not all hosts are showing.

First of all: ListenLive is a great firmware initiative! Keep up the good work.
If I make a suggestion: can we start a feature request thread? I think many people have good ideas that can be implemented easily, making ListenLive even more usefull.

I have used this firmware on my Envivo PO1235 box now for 24 hours and its so much better than the original firmware, however I'dd be extra happy with:
- telnet/ssh access (I'm used to having this on any firmware mod)
- manual entry of samba paths in Mediaplayer
- I see a reference to NFS support but I can't enter any server info.
- option to show the clock after n minutes playing radio/mp3. Perhaps ticker tape with song info in the clock screen

I can think of many more things but I don't want to appear greedy
