Altough the modified firmware still shows a "powered by Gracenote" sign on startup no CD is recognized.

Is it possible to implement another free CD database instead, so we can get the feature back? As far as I know Musicbrainz could be an alternative with an API for developers here.

Is this spmething that actually can be done or is this absolutely out of the picture?
