Hi all, thanks for this great site, i am learning how to deal with my iradio, I have a dmtech (Firmware DC009) and downloaded and installed its update correspondingly, as well as a full reset as recommmended.
I have a few questions, I hope you can help me:
1) Is it ok that I still see "World Station" as the database? In fact World Station and SHOUTCast. Or should I see a kind of "listenlive.nl" database?
2) I live in Germany, but I am from Argentina, so as you could imagine, I was planning to hear some of my favorite radio stations, but unfortunately none of them work. What should I do? What could you do for helping me?.
The device keeps looping trying to connect without success, or sometimes with some stations I get only a "Getting playlist" but nothing happens...
Normally I can hear those radios via streaming using my laptop without any issue... but that is the reason why I bought this device...
Some examples are:
Metro 95.1 Fm
La red 910 AM
Rock and pop

Thanks a lot in advance, sorry if these are stupid questions, please remember i am completely green with iradios.
Daniel

Getting those stations to work should not be a big ssues.

First we need to be sure the firmware is correctly loaded. Go to settings / information and scroll down.

There is a link that tells you where you can propose new stations.. this should have changed to listenlive.nl

If not, the firmware is not updated yet.

The listenlive server takes the place of worldstation.. the name is not changed.. we just run the server as a service to all devices that are left out in the cold after the bankruptcy of Penbex around 2011..

Dear William, thanks for your quick reply.

I have checked whether the firmware was loadead, in fact I see:
OS: DC009-2.0.0.8
Release build 11/02/11-1149
(Add Station Page) http://station.listenlive.nl

I guess then, it was correctly loaded.

How to proceed now in order to make those radio stations work?
Thanks again for your time.
Daniel

I will take a look at the URL's these stations use.. you can also use the suggest form to add stations to the database if you know the URL's

Hi, did you had the chance to check the URL from those Radios?
I have added another one using the suggest form, but it must be approved by you isnt it?

I was wondering whether it can runs automatically, so as you dont have to double check everything, and also I will not have an useless device until you find sometime to update the database.
If this is the way how this device/system works, I definitely will return it and get my money back.

Thank you for your help.
