I would be very grateful if someone could spare the time to advise me.
I have three OTEK IPTV510 all running Ver 1.43 flawlessly. However, I recently wanted to listen to audio books and because 1.43 does not go to an SD file when powered on I updated one device to 1.52. Since then the Media Player will lock up and not play files sequentially.
If I play a file, hit STOP then turn off the device then restart it will go to the file but not play it. (This may be the default procedure - I don't know.) So I play a file and at the end it will sometimes go to EXIT then hang. The device has not locked up in that I can turn it off with the remote - only the Media Player has frozen.
When I first flashed it, it rebooted and apparently had saved network settings etc and booted normally - but it was playing up so I re-flashed it. This time it didn't reboot just gave a message to effect of UNPLUG AND RESTART. It was still playing up so came to the forum and read that it was best not to re-flash but to reset facory defaults and/or power off for one minute.
This also didn't work. I've now flashed a total of three times and set factory defaults four or five times and powered off for a minute many more times. I flashed from the menu on the SD card on boot.
So far I've tried two SD cards and the same SD card in a 1.43 device. The SD card works normally in a 1.43. The same files are played without problems on my Nexus 7's and a Samsung stereo. I've also reformatted the SD card using 'SDFormatter'
I'm kind of running out of ideas here so any help would be very much appreciated.
