Newer/other edimax will not work.. it comes down to the chipset because of the driver that is inside the firmware.

Hi,
My WiFi Dongle just broke down 
(. I tried with a TP-Link TL-WN722N, with no luck. Then I found this post.

Does anyone know if newer Edimax Models work? I don't think that the old model can be purchased today somewhere.

So far no one was able to replace the driver or find a replacement model of the wifi dongle

there is a list of compatible wi fi dongle for this? because i have a wi fi dongle but it keep say to plug in
