Hello Nobi:

When I go to the Settings Icon, and then select Application Specific Settings, the following happens:

If I select Weather Settings, and then Detect and Set Weather Location, a box appears saying: Sorry, obtaining location based on IP address failed, use manual selection Press Any Key.... and then the radio cannot respond to any key presses and you have to shut it off and turn it back on.

If I go to Manual Set Weather Location, I can type in my location (or any location in the world) and press enter, but the location is never recognized, so if I go back to the Weather App, the location is listed as Now, temperature - in farenheit - /feels like, max/min/wind speed/direction/UV Index/visibility are all listed as 0n and the Sun icon is displayed; the forecast has the sun icon with 0 degree high and lows every day. The radar shows North America.

I wonder if this error can be corrected - do I need to reprogram the radio?

Also the radio's time clock is not always correct, I have to go to the Date and Time menu in settings every two weeks or so and go to the Synchronize Internet Time Now Menu to reset it because he time can be slow by up to 2 minutes, even though the Automatic Time Synchronization is set to On.

Hello Anthony,
does the entry screen of the weather app show the correct location in the header line?
Which means: does the app get the right location data from the settings?

I have checked the responsible data provider AccuWeather and it presents actual data: www.accuweather.com

I live in a small village in Germany and the weather data for my location are fine on my device. So, in general it works.

Does the weather radar (weather app entry screen, selection RIGHT) show pictures with motion (moving clouds)?

Hello:

I am having an issue with the Weather APP on my Vistaquest Radio. Since around the beginning of February 2020 the app is no longer updating the weather. Instead of the current temperature, weather conditions, wind speed, barometer and 7 day forecast, All I now receive is a 0 (zero) reading for everything in my location. I have tried resetting my Weather in the Application Specific Settings Menu several times and nothing has changed. Any solutions?
